DIY Gold Quartz Earring Hoops

These earrings are the part deux of my raw quartz piece jewelry tutorials! Last week, I posted a tutorial for a wire wrapped gold quartz cuff bracelet, and now you'll have the earrings to match! These, as you can probably tell, are even EASIER to make - only two steps involved!

As with the cuff bracelet, these earrings are definitely a statement, but I definitely think they're the perfect amount of glam. With thin gold hoops and colorless quartz, the actual raw stone shapes are the only attention-grabbing parts of the earrings, which I love. Plus, they only cost me ~$8 to make!

DIY Autumn Acorn Earrings or Ornaments

It's finally starting to feel like fall here in San Francisco, so I'm trying to think of fun autumn/fall/seasonal projects to share. I knew I wanted to make some jewelry, which I haven't done in awhile, so this is what I came up with. Obviously, wearing real acorns as earrings is not for everyone, but if you're feeling the season like I am, maybe you'll want to try pulling these off. They're really easy (and cheap) to make too.

DIY Tassle Necklace and Earrings

I was so happy when I discovered Grace’s Stripes and Sequins blog, and at the time, I was in a serious statement necklace phase. So, I was clearly ecstatic to come across her post, a collaboration with Holst & Lee, on how to make a tassle necklace!

I followed the directions on Grace’s post religiously. At the time I was making it, it was the most difficult necklace I had ever attempted, but Grace’s instructions were flawless and it turned out really well!
